MakingLifeSimple is built to make everyday tasks simpler — and that includes being straightforward about your data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we don't do. It covers this website and our apps, including Property Finder on Map.

The short version

You can browse and use Property Finder on Map without an account.
If you sign in, we store only your name and email (from Google, if you use Google sign-in).
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand overall usage.
We do not sell your data. Your data is not the product.

Information we collect

Account information (only if you sign in). When you create an account or sign in with Google, we receive and store your name and email address, and a provider identifier. We use this only to sign you in and remember you across visits. Signing in is optional.

Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage — pages visited, general location (city/region), device type and similar. This helps us improve the tools. It is not used to identify you personally.

Location (only if you allow it). Property Finder on Map has a "my location" feature. If you tap it, your browser/device asks your permission and shares your location only with your device's map to center it. We do not store or transmit your location to our servers.

Technical data. Like most websites, our servers automatically log basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.

Property data

Project information shown in Property Finder on Map comes from the public Karnataka RERA dataset. It is provided for information only, may contain errors or be out of date, and is not a quote or an offer. Always confirm details, availability and price directly with the builder.

How we use your information

To provide and maintain the tools and your account.
To understand aggregate usage and improve the experience.
To keep the service secure and working reliably.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers that run the product on our behalf — for example, Amazon Web Services (hosting/database) and Google (sign-in and analytics) — and only as needed to operate the service, or where required by law.

Your choices

Use Property Finder on Map without signing in.
Decline the location permission — the tool still works, just without centering on you.
Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us (below).

Data retention & security

We keep account data only while your account exists. Data is stored on reputable cloud infrastructure with access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

Our tools are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
